Community Living Durham North (CLDN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. Founded in 1967 (originally as Central Seven Association), CLDN works to create “a community where everyone is valued.”
CLDN provides a range of services across Durham Region, including:
Residential Services – safe, supportive housing options
Respite Services – relief for families and caregivers
Community Supports – daytime programs tailored to diverse needs
Family Support – resources and advocacy for families
Social Groups – opportunities for recreation and peer connection
Housing & Homelessness Support – housing with related supports
Through these programs, CLDN empowers individuals to explore their goals, share their talents, and be active members of their community.
